Moyes should abandon reactive football.

The general play of Everton has showed that despite a sound defense, they have always tended to mirror opposition or looked to counter them.
Arrigo Sacchi once said that his Milan side were the last side to ever try to be proactive. In many ways its true because managers have tended to look too seriously into the opponents and their formations that the preparations have become more reactive. However, Barcelona have showed in recent years that proactive football is not extinct. The part where proactive becomes difficult is when the players are not syncing with the system. Sacchi was able to create on of the greatest teams but he never was able to do that again pointing to the fact that the set of players he had were unique. At United, I believe that we rarely buy players who are capable of playing only in a single position. And reason being that our football has been partly proactive always. But the next level is that of Bayern's and BVB's . Bayern showed this year a hybrid system so well drilled that it was impossible to stop them from playing their way unless, someone played in a similar way and that was BVB and Arsenal last year who have shown that fire should be countered with fire.
At United, the truth is that we have played in a similar way for a long time.. but pressing has never been as strong as bayern have shown last year.Moyes in that way should recognise that the football we play should point towards the likes of Bayern and not to the likes of Milan or even Real Madrid for that matter.
Your opinions please !?
